The 2008 Arsenal Challenge Soccer Tournament is over now. It was quite an event with over 360 matches played by more than 225 teams. Thanks to all of the volunteers, board members and participating clubs who helped to make this year's tournament a great success. Congratulations go to all of the teams who participated. Honorable mention goes to the Arsenal 92 Premier Boys (U-16 Gold). Though they did not break their bracket, they were the only group to score on the team from New Zealand since they arrived in the US for The President's Day Tournament. The boys led the game 2-1 in the 2nd half. New Zealand equalized with only 3 minutes left in regulation and Saturday's feature match played to a 2-2 draw in what many consider to be the most exciting, aggressive and hardest fought match of the tournament.
