Thank you to everyone who attended this years Arsenal Community Games. With your support we we able to raise almost $2000.00 that will help to provide donations to worthy charities in our community. There were over 150 Arsenal kids at the 3 v 3 tournament and all the kids had a great time. The U17 v U18 scrimmage was an exciting preview to the main event. The "Coaches Match" was more then everyone bargained for and all spectators went away satisfied having watch a very competitive game. Congratulations to all of the coaches who managed to put on an excellent show for all! Let's hope there was enough ice available for you guys post-match. Get ready for a possible rematch at the upcoming Arsenal Opening Ceremonies in the fall of 2010! Check out some pictures from the match below.
Bob Lawrence took a few minutes before the coaches match to lead a moment of silence for Connor Redd who was the keeper on Tim Barmettler's 90 Premier Boys team. Connor lost his life in a tragic accident whil studying abroad. More information on Connor can be found here
Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped put this together and make it go. Lance Wise who has only been involved in the operations a short period of time managed to get both hands dirty on this project and he helped produce a gem. Nicely done Lance!
