DAVID BELFORT- Director of Arsenal Youth Academy
"No one has ever questioned the amount of passion, perseverance, and energy that Belfort brings to the game of soccer." All aspects of the Arsenal Youth Academy will be under the direction of David Belfort. After playing 4 years collegiately and captaining the team his Senior year at Bowling Green State University Belfort began his coaching career for the now Cincinnati United Premier Crew Juniors. While in Cincinnati, Belfort was also involved with coaching the top boys and girls club teams in the area and the Ohio South Olympic Development Program. Since moving to Arizona Belfort holds a USSF A coaching license as he currently coaches the Gilbert Arsenal 96 Premier Boys Team and Gilbert Arsenal 00 Premier Boys Team. He has been the head coach of the Arizona 93 Boys ODP team and 94 Boys ODP Team. In addition he is Highland High School Boys Varsity Coach, Assistant Mens coach at Mesa Community College, has been involved with the USSF Satellite Training Camps in Arizona and is the owner and Director of Precision Soccer Academy Camps. David Belfort is in his fifth year as a full time Digital Art teacher and holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.

ANTHONY PRESNELL- Assistant Director of Arsenal Youth Academy
Originally from Colorado where he was a 3x All-Region Player, Presnell spent time playing collegiate soccer at Paradise Valley Community College and Northern Arizona University. While at N.A.U he founded the Men's soccer program and began his coaching career with Flagstaff Soccer club and Flagstaff High School. In 2010 Presnell received his Bachelors degree in Business Marketing and moved to Gilbert where he coaches the 01 Girls and 02/03 Boys for Gilbert Arsenal. In addition he is the Red Mountain High School Boys Varsity coach, Assistant Men's & Women's coach at Mesa Community College and holds a USSF C coaching license.
EILENE SOTAK- Youth Academy Coach "Little Strikers"
Sotak brings a tremendous amount of experience to working with youth athletes as a teacher to the "Little Strikers" group of the Arsenal Youth Academy. Working numerous years as a full time elementary teacher and special needs teacher her ability to produce a learning conducive and welcoming environment to first time soccer players is fantastic.
JACOB ZIMMERMAN- Youth Academy Coach
Zimmerman returns to help out with the Arsenal Youth Academy after being a member of the highly successful Gilbert Arsenal '90 Boys team. The Gilbert Arsenal '90 Boys team captured 4 State Cups while Zimmerman was on the team. After High School, Zimmerman went on to play collegiately at Chandler Gilbert Community College. Also an alumni of Gilbert High School, Zimmerman is an Assistant Boys Varisty Coach at Gilbert High School. Zimmerman is currently finishing an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education.
JULIE TRUNDLE- Youth Academy Coach
Julie Trundle comes to the Arsenal Youth Academy Staff after being developed in one of the top rated soccer clubs nationwide in the Cleveland Internationals. Trundle went on to compete collegiately at Bowling Green State University setting numerous records and helping the team reach the NCAA tournament two of her four years. She has an extensive background in athlete performance and personal training. She has recently completed her Master's of Education Degree.
