Welcome to the Home of the Arsenal
The Gilbert Soccer Club is the home of the Arsenal where our players and teams proudly wear the black and teal. The club was formed in 1992 with only four teams and has grown in the last 18 years to nearly fifty teams and also includes the Arsenal Academy and Arsenal Recreational programs that teach the love of the game and soccer skills to hundreds of players from 3-10 years of age.
We attribute our growth to the wonderful coaching staff that has been put in place over the years and their ability to teach the game as well as foster a love for the game in our players. Our teams train mainly in the Gilbert area at multiple sites that include the NEW Paloma Soccer Complex and local junior high schools and high schools. Our players dominate the local high school scene and past players are now lacing up their cleats for dozens of college teams across the nation. While we train mainly in the Gilbert area, our teams are known nationally, traveling all over the country for competitive tournaments. On any given weekend you can find GSC teams playing in CA, NV, CO, MO, IA, IL, VA, MD, NY, TX and probably several others.
We feel that we can offer every player the level of competition and development they are seeking with our tiered system of Premier, Select, and Classic teams and the Arsenal Academy and Arsenal Recreational programs for our youngsters. Our success is attributable to our great youth players and referees, outstanding coaching staff, wonderful team managers, selfless board members, and the great support of all the families that give their time and efforts in making us one of the best youth sports organizations in Arizona. |

It was awesome to see so many GSC people out there supporting the teams. We definitely had the most fans on the fields from an individual club both days. The Coaches, Players, Parents, Families and Fans of this club are top-notch and are the reason we are the best soccer club in AZ. It was definitely a proud weekend to be a member of the GSC Arsenal Family!!! Thank you to all the Coaches, Players and Families for a great year of Arsenal Soccer!! Good Luck at try-outs,

GSC Come Back Athlete |
|
|
Wow, what an experience! On May 8, a banquet was held to celebrate the accomplishments of all Comeback Student Athlete nominees for 2011 - 2012 (25 in total). Two awards were presented; Comeback Student Athlete of the Year (selected by a panel of judges) and Comeback Student Athlete Fan Fave (determined by the number of votes received). We were told that over 100,000 votes were cast over a three week period. After all votes were tallied......Dylan was presented with the Comeback Student Athlete Fan Fave Award! Dylan was also one of the five finalists for the Comeback Student Athlete of the Year award which was presented to Maddie Krentz (pictured below, a gymnast who overcame broken bones, a dislocated kneecap and several other injuries over her career and still received a full ride gymnastics scholarship to Boise State....an incredible story!) Simply put.....this could not have happened without the amazing support of the Arsenal family! Thanks to all who took the time to vote and for passing the information on to your vast network of family and friends asking for their help. Dylan was honored to be a part of this exciting program and was obviously thrilled with the result. Thanks again to the Arsenal family for your continued support! Here's to another great year of soccer! The Nall family

Comeback Athlete Dylan Nall - VOTE!!!!! VOTE!!!!! VOTE!!!!!
Dylan Nall joined our Arsenal family back in 2005, and now she is a senior. A car accident left her with a fractured pelvis, lacerated liver, broken ribs and a concussion. She spent three months in a wheelchair and countless hours in physical therapy. That didn't stop Dylan! She is back on the soccer field! Dylan is one tough kid with an awesome family!! Please click on this link to hear Dylan Nall's story and to VOTE for her for Phoenix Children's Hospital
Comeback Athlete of the Year!! http://www.azcentral.com/advert/pch2012/dylan-nall.html
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! You may vote once per day through April 20th!! Let's all support Dylan and let her know how proud we are of her amazing comeback!
